Does anyone know of a search engine or something? I’m looking for an old Shamash & Sons fabric — bright green with parrots/toucans. Thanks!

I used to be able to purchase 17 lbs. of dress cotton for about $6.00, this was about 25 yrs. ago, from a dress factory that sold scraps of cotton for quilting. I live in Pa., would someone know where in Pa. I might be able to find a dress or shirt factory? Thank you.

I’m making a quilt that has VERY different colored fabrics: white, dark blue, red, light green, light blue, and black/white check (please don’t give smart a** remarks about the combination of colors, it’s from a Pottery Barn collection).

I know I need to prewash my quilt fabric before I sew it: can I wash all these fabrics together in cold water, or do I need to wash them all separately?

My mom really wants one and I’d love to be able to provide it for her. It’s not really my style, but, hey, to each her own, right? Anyway, any leads you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Sorry, Alyssa, my mom is really against Vera Bradley. She’s had several Vera Bradley bags that have fallen apart within months, so she’s sworn never to buy another Vera again, yet, she still likes the style. She’s found that other handmade fabric bags hold up much better than Vera’s factory sewn bags.

Thanks to Chicken Nugget for the two sites she linked! They both look perfect! :)
